About Our Chapter
Child bedlessness is a national problem, and as a national nonprofit with chapters spread across the country, SHP has provided the solution. We are a volunteer organization that builds beds for kids who are sleeping on the floor and there are multiple ways to get involved right here on our CAN-AB-Edmonton South page.

Edmonton/Sherwood Park Kiwanis

Saturday June 3, 2023 8am-4pm
DOW Chemical, Fort Saskatchewan
SHP Strathcona County/Edmonton will be hosting a Build Event for the Kiwanis Members on Saturday June 3rd. Participants may sign up for a morning, afternoon, or full day session. Volunteers will meet at the DOW Chemical Main Gate Security office(Fort Saskatchewan) at 7:45am, at which time they will be signed in and given a site safety orientation. After the safety orientation a pancake breakfast will be held from 8-9am.

Participants are required to wear close toes shoes, long pants, and any PPE required will be provided on site (safety glasses, masks, gloves, ear protection). Participants can bring their own PPE if they wish.
